I am married to Robert and we have three children and two grandchildren. I studied Graphic Design in Kingston (which was a Polytechnic in those days).
A few years after completing my degree I was married and living in Swansea. My career was on hold while I raised my family, apart from a little freelance work, a short spell setting up a visitor centre in Llandeilo, some part time lecturing and, more recently, teaching GCSE Art.
I have worked part time for The Home Tuition Service for about 16 years.
I started painting with pastels in 2012 whilst listening to preaching in church but it was not until my youngest daughter went to Uni in London (2013) that I started my Gower Landscapes (following 8 months of treatment for breast cancer).
I started selling my cards at local craft fairs and I joined Gower Crafts and Artisans in 2015. It was so lovely to meet with other creative people, share ideas and meet up in craft fairs around Gower.
I joined the GCA shop in Mumbles where I started to expand my range to include mugs and tea towels and Limited Edition Prints. A few shops and cafes where you will find myartwork are: The Kite Shop in Pitton Cross, The Coffee Shop in Pennard, Gallery Art and Coffee, Llanelli and Crefftau Bont, Pontarddulais.
In February 2017 I joined Pembrokeshire Craftmakers. This has given me new opportunities to explore Pembrokeshire and to meet a new group of talented creatives.
